The Study Of The Modern Enterprise Is Based On The Optimal Cost Of Procurement

According to the trend of further globalization of world economy and the rapid development of information technology , enterprises are facing up with more and more complicated environment and more sever marketing competition .While enterprises trying all ways to develop profit sources, in order to maintain advantages in marketing competition ,they gradually focus on "cost saving" . That is well embodied in the following course of "Profit-pursuing": The first stage referring to the first profit source which was 'Improving producing technology and turning down the consumption of raw material'; The second stage referring to the second profit source which was 'Increasing sales quantity and enhancing sales profitability'; The present stage referring to the third profit source which is 'Strengthening procurement management and cutting purchasing cost'. From the above changes, we can learn that purchasing has been the focus of enterprises' development.The paradox between profit-pursuing lasting high costs in purchasing makes it a requirement for enterprises to focus on purchasing. On the first chapter, the thesis elaborates the basic knowledge of purchasing, at the same time, it dissertates the inevitability from the aspect of theory. Since the cost of purchasing is the core problem in its field, on the second chapter, the thesis analyzes the purchasing cost systematically. Applying the theory of "Debate" to cost analysis, the thesis here puts forward idea of "Ultimate Excellence in purchasingcost" .then the thesis presents a few important points to further understand the idea of "Ultimate Excellence in purchasing cost". On the third chapter, the thesis quotes the case of "Cisco System" to demonstrate its feasibility. Based on the idea of "Ultimate Excellence in purchasing cost", the thesis put forward the purchasing execution, which includes the definition of purchasing strategy, good design of purchasing process and strategic suppliers' management. The content of strategic suppliers' management is the most important part of the whole execution. On the last chapter, the thesis describes the present state of enterprises and gives us some sparkles in purchasing based on the idea of "Ultimate Excellence in purchasing cost": Firstly, enterprises should change their ideas in purchasing; then they should make some preparations such as the development of purchasing organization and information system.At present, most purchasing in our enterprises are separated, inefficiency and out of systematic order. We have not attached sufficient importance to purchasing, at the same time, we have to meet the challenge of foreign enterprises after China's entry to the WTO. How can we make it in purchasing in this kind of environment? The thesis here presents one way to think and one aim to go for in purchasing. Wish the thesis could do some good in purchasing for our enterprises.
