Based On Cost - Benefit Analysis Of The Olympic Economic Impact Prediction

Through a great deal of deep analysis on relative data in this paper, the research of Olympic Games effect on the city's economy development has been done from both aspects of theory and demonstration.From the aspect of theory, the theory model of Olympic Games effect on the city's economy development has been established. Through the theory model, how the Olympic Game had effect on the city's economy development has been discussed in the first step; the components of the effect and the relative external factor have been studied.Firstly, the economy's effect was mainly realized by two ways: incoming and payout, investment and output. The payout for holding the Olympic Games was the economy investment of the holding city. Olympic Games effect on the city's economy development was closely related to the investment for the Olympic Games, in the marginal cost range, the economy's effect was greater with the higher investment.The source of the incoming has been analyzed from five aspects, the investment of Olympic Games holding country's all level state, the investment of international Olympic Games committee, incoming of Olympic Games organizing committee from diversified channels, contribution from the society and the revenue. The relationship of above five aspects has been discussed on this base, the proportion the total incoming, the affecting factor of the incoming and the measurement about increasing the incoming have been studied. The two aspects of payout have been analyzed: payout for both organizing and engineering. The different factors affecting payout and the relative measurement about decreasing the payout have been discussed.Secondly, on the basis of the above budget system, the cost-benefit analysis about the Olympic Games has been done. The conclusion can be drawn: if the cost on the basic establishment was not included in the payout, better economy profit could be gained, on the contrary, the cost on the basic establishment was put on the total payout for the Olympic Games holding, the economy profit gained from the Olympic Games would be decreased, even the deficit would appeared, the economy benefit brought from the Olympic Games would be less than that people estimated.Thirdly, Olympic Games effects on the city's economy development were consisted of positive effect and negative effect. Among the positive effect, the direct effect were composed of the GDP increasing for the holding country, employment increasing, relative property development and the investment environment improving etc.; the indirect effects were consisted of the manpower capital increasing and district economy development boosting etc. The negative effects were indicated to the sports equipment knocking about, damage for the non-benefited people's life and the society's additional payout increasing etc.Finally the reason for the Olympic Games effect on the city's economy development was discussed, the deeper reasons were indicated to the globalization and the culture-economy integration, which leaded the corporations to put up great investment on the Olympic Games. International Olympic Games Committee and the Olympic Games organizing committee also showed the tendency of cultureeconomization. In the result, the tendency of the culture-economy integration and the culture industrialization would be showed.The theory model had the important guide significance not only for the Olympic Games and Olympic sports, but also for other large-scale synthesized sports meeting.The theory research has been proved by the demonstration. Through analyzing the data for the former Olympic Games, the further research has been done in different aspects, such as the incoming source of Olympic Games, incoming proportion and the effect on the holding city's economy development; the tendency of the above aspects has been indicated.
