| The Chinese Insurance market has experienced tremendous develoupment in recent years. At the same time , Life insurance industry is in face of benefit decreasing because of interest loss. Insurance company has to design a new product-Investment-oriented Insurance Products, to solve the impact of interest loss. We are sure that Investment-oriented Insurance Products will become popular in the near future, giving consumers has more than choice of insurance products. So, under current market conditions , how does the life insurance company manage the Investment-oriented Insurance Products? This dissertation consists of three chapters: Chapter 1 of this paper discuss the design and the features of Investment-Linked Insurance(ILI) products. The insurance of ILI is divided into two account, namely , the "ordinary account" and "independent account". In the ordinary account ,fund is handled in the traditional means, so as to guarantee the basic security obligation to customers. In independent account there are several portfolio, each of which consists of several equivalent fund units. A customer is permitted to decide the distribution of insurance across portfolios; the loss and earnings from portfolios are recorded on his account ,which ultimately determined the payment he will get in the future. The part 2 compares the ILI with traditional insurance, describes 5 features of ILI: (1) Investors get the yield and bear the risk . (2)Independent account. (3)open information and transparency. (4) Cash value and insurance indemnity depend on the investment result of the independent account. (5) Resist the inflation. The part 3 compares the ILI with the common trust fund through three respects: Investment and risk, ensure, tax and expenses. The part 4 talks about "the overseas development of ILI". It includes an analysis of the reasons that lead to variable life insurance's failure in Japan. As overseas experience shows, if a life insurance company wants to manage ILI well, there are two respects it should pay attention to: (1) insurance company should soul ILI to solvent customers with investment idea; (2)insurance company must have good investment skills, appropriate management and capable personnel. Chapter 2 discusses the present situation which the Chinese life insurance companies face. At first, it analyses the life insurance market. According to the demand investigation, the impact on life insurance popularity of the family income presents the tendency of falling after rising: the proportion of buying life insurance products in those families whose income between 4,000-20,000yuan presents the trend that rising with the rising of income, while in the families that their income exceeds 20,000yuan, the downward trend appears. There may be three following reasons: (1)no suitable insurance product, (2)service can't meet their demands,(3)don't familiar with the insurance products. Then, the part2 analyses the financial market: stock market, bond market and fund market. And draw a conclusion: the insurance fund should invest into stock market directly. Chapter 3 "the analysis on the strategy of life company's management of ILI" is the core of this paper. Start with the existing ILI product in China, we discuss the shortcomings of the existing products. And analysis the reason why people don't want to buy ILI. We find the basic reason is that the customers didn't familiar with ILI. Then ,we discuss how people gets the information. Every product has it's aim customer. Then, what kind of customer is the most suitable customer that life insurance company should sell ILI to? We discuss the aim customer's characteristic and demands. Through analysis of above content, we provide some suggestions on the designing of ILI product, distribution,investment and inner management.
