Rawls And Nozick Theory Of Justice Study

The justice problem is a subject matter of political philosophy. Through the ages, people have been considering this question without stopping through various kinds of ways all the time .Rawls and Nozick are political philosophers with a long standing reputation in the contemporary west, they have carried on deep thinking to the justice problem, have formed one's own theoretical system .This article mainly have made comparative research their just theory, the full text is divided into three parts.First part of the article has investigated the historical origin of the justice theory at first, we have introduced the justice theory of ancient Greek Plato, Aristotle and modern and modern just theory of capitalist class. The purpose is to comb out the justice theory developing history in the western .And then we have explained justice as fairness by Rawls from three respects of basic idea, key content and just identification of the just theory. Finally, we have introduced Nozick justice theory from two respects of key content and the characteristic of the content.The second part of the article compares Rawls and Nozick justice theory. First, we have analysed the difference of their theories. Second, we have analysed the same respect of their theory, Finally, through the above relatively, we get such a conclusion: their theories are both western new liberalism theories, their dispute is only the battle inside families of the liberalism, and all have limitation of its history and class. The third part of the article analyses the defect of their theoretical systems e and enlightenment of us . At first, we used the Marxist basic concept to analyse the defect of their theory. And then the author argue that their justice theory will have a meaning lessons to the fair efficiency problem, problem of income allocation while solving the present socio-economic development of our country and that their justice theory have a enlightenment function to deal with personal and national relation and socialist democracy and the rule of law.
