In China's brewery industry, it has the features as follows, many in number of enterprises, lowproductivity in single factory, weak in management base, low personnel quality, capacity morethan demands, strong market competition, big loss in many enterprises etc.Combine with the enterprise practice, this paper makes a detailed discussion in how to adopt themanagement to strengthen management base in brewery enterprise so that to improve its marketcompetition ability.There are totally six chapters in this paper.Chapter 1 analyzes the severe situation that the brewery industry in facing. So under thecircumstance that opportunity and challenge exist at the same time, reinforcement of basicworks is becoming especially important.Chapter Origin and conception introduction of "5S""5S" is the first letter of the five Japanese Roman pronunciation, i.e. "Seiri", "Seiton", "Seiso","Seiketsu", "Shitsuke".The three pillars of the "5S" is to create a regular, clean and visible management factory.Chapter 3 illustrates the importance of "5S""5S" has the features of simple and easy understanding. The way to solve problems is notcomplicated either. Through carrying out "5S" philosophy, it could improve the scientificmanagement level of enterprise, decreasing waste, guarantee the progress in pushing forwardthe standardization, strengthen the adscription of staff to company, further to improve theenterprise's core competition ability.Chapter 4 introduces how to push forward "5S" activityThe pushing forward of "5S" needs the involvement of the top directors. It needs the guaranteefrom the organization and system. Division of labor should be clear and definite. Somescientific working methods such as "target management" and PDCA etc. should be applied.Propaganda works should be well done which could make all the staff understand and join it.Besides, the tables, tools and objective of activity are introduced in details.Chapter 5 Points should be notices in "5S" activityThe key point of "5S" is the whole staffs participation. The next point is that the objectivewhich will be pushed forward should be concrete, quantification, and operable. Furthermore,the plan should be as detailed as possible in which the key factor is that the execution should befulfilled. Therefore, it needs the support from the top directors in funds, organization and action.Meanwhile, the corresponded performance assessment should be established, while theinspection and execution should be strictly fulfilled.Chapter 6 The Extend ion and distillation of "5S"To reach the certain levels for the "5S", it needs to extend the "5S" works continuously, fromvisible management to system management, keep introducing the new management style andconcept, and finally distill it into the enterprise culture.The execution of "5S" riches the content of enterprise culture, creates clear, bright and neatenvironment in production and administration as well as the well-ordered and efficiencyworking environment, improve the enterprise image, extend the brand name, so far lay a solidfoundation for the development of enterprise.
