On The Contemporary Spirit Of The Chinese Soldiers

At present, the world has marched into the information era with great military changes. In order to prepare well enough for the military struggle, to shoulder the historical responsibility of "winning the victory without rottenness" , we must put high premium on the generation of servicemen's mental fighting capacity as well as strengthen the modernization of weapons and equipment, which is greatly relevant to our army's revolution, modernization and regularization. In this thesis, one epochal subject of cultivating modern servicemen's mind is put forward. This subject is based upon the relationship between matter and mind in materialism, along with the aim to glorify our national spirit and improve the army's fighting capacity.Beginning with the analysis on human's mind, servicemen's mind and then on our Chinese servicemen's mind, this thesis has made a deep research on the servicemen's mind about its nature, its epochal characteristics and its basic content. It gives us a clear explanation on modern servicemen's mind, especially on its forming foundation, advance process and its practical values. From all the above it draws a conclusion, that is, the servicemen's mind is fighting capacity. And then the thesis brings to light the varies present factors that influence servicemen's mind, investigates how to construct it. And the thesis does much research on how to constitute and cultivate modern servicemen's mind, mainly on the following aspects such as military practice, team life, and active political work. It is hoped that this thesis can supply some meaningful help, in the light of the combination of theory and practice, for the present military preparation.
