Driven by the world financial liberalization and the economy globalization, foreign banks in China have developed rapidly. The development of foreign banks in China will help China's financial industry in the modernization, internationalization. But at the same time as foreign banks own specificity, and our imperfect legislation on foreign banks. Foreign banks will bring some inevitable enormous risks. China's existing legislation on the supervision of foreign banks have some problems, such as the legislative level, specific legal provision of market access, market and regulatory approaches to withdraw from a number of shortcomings.The adoption of foreign banks to explore the theory and principles of supervision and regulation of foreign banks abroad experience and the requirements of the Basel Agreement inspection. More analytical methods used to link China's actual situation based on the theory of foreign banks and make some recommendations to improve our legal system.The full text is divided into four chapters. Chapter Ⅰ is the regulation of foreign banks and specificity rationale. This chapter analyses the form of foreign banks existence and specificity of the supervision of foreign banks and the theory of regulation and regulatory principles which foreign banks based.Chapter Ⅱ is the status of our foreign banks and regulatory problems. Covers the legal basis for foreign banks and the presence of several regulatory issues.Chapter Ⅲ regulatory regime for foreign banks to foreign missions and the requirements of the Basel Agreement. This experience and supervision of foreign banks abroad Basel agreement on the provisions of the Banking Supervision inspected.Chapter Ⅳ to improve our legal system to monitor foreign banks. Based on our foreign bank regulatory principles and values, and learn from foreign advanced experience of foreign banks to improve the regulatory system recommendations.
