Product Recalls, Legal System And A Comparative Study

After China took the reform and opening policy, the internationaltrade and market economy got full developed, and the category of productshas been become abundance. However, the damages of consumers and thethreat in our society caused by defect products become increasinglyseriously. Unfortunately, the legislation of our country does not changethis situation effectively at present. Under such conditions, the purposeof this article is to discuss how to set up a law or a system about thedefect product to enhance the protection of consumers and our society,which will also promote the development of China's economy.This thesis includes five parts altogether:The first part of the article demonstrates the important and basicprinciples about definition of product recall, products and productdefect in product recall law system.The second part of the article introduces the defect product recallof foreign countries.The third part of the article introduces the defect auto productrecall system of the mainly developed countries.The fourth part of the article introduces something important aboutproduct recall system in details.The fifth part of the article points out the necessity of setting upthe defect product recall system in China and gives some advices aboutthe recall system.
