The rate of the population between the two sexes in 1981 was 108, in 2000 it was 117 and in 2005 the figure went up to 120, which far surpassed the internationally acknowledged maximum warning line of 107. Till 2020, the male population at marriage age will be 30,000,000 more than the female population. The unbalance between the populations of the two sexes will lead to the emergence of a great number of young men at the marriage age, which will form a large potential demand of young females. This will aggravate the hard sex related crimes. The unbalance between the populations of the two sexes and the subsequent crimes influences not only the interest of the common public but has an impact upon the stability of the State and even the construction of a harmonious society. If no appropriate attentions are paid to it, it will cause a series of social problems. Based on extensively collected materials and intensive analysis and process of relevant data, this paper intends to give a systematic research of the unbalance between the populations of the two sexes, the subsequent crimes and measures of prevention and precaution.This paper has produced the following results:It presented the population development of our country and the world and the status quo of the rate between the two sexes. It predicted the population development tendency of our country and the world and analyzed the reason that caused the unbalance between the two sexes——the bias for males and against females, the deficiency in government policies and major social turbulence.It analyzed social problems caused by the unbalance between the populations of the two sexes.
