With progress of economy and advancement of technology, the employee, as an important part of the enterprise, has been recognized more and more. The development of the employee participation system has become the worldwide tendency. As far as our primarily established and improving socialistic market economy, introduction of effective employee participation system benefits to both of employee and employer. This article altogether divides into four parts.The first part firstly summarizes introduction of major mode of the employee participation system, such as employee participating in departments, collectivity negotiation, employee stock ownership as well as some other mode of employee participation. And then it analyses the definition of the employee participation system, which also includes function and limit. In the author's view, the character of this system is the transformation of the role which the employee plays in the enterprise. With the partition between employee and supervisor has been broken, the employee not only receive the order, but also participate in the managerial activity, which forms the communication among the intemal organization. This system aims to amend and improve the structure of the enterprise, not to change the structure radically.The second part analyses those factors which affect the employee participation system. In order to comprehend the operation and development of employee participation system, there are some factors that should be understood deeply. Following with progress of economic level and development of science and technology, the changing of the organization information structure of enterprise is the first essential factor that affects the employee participation system. Additionally, the enhancement of labor movement and labor union organization is another important factor that affects the employee participation system. Finally, different countries' history development in different economic cultural condition molded out different employee participation system.The third part analyses the legislation of the employee participation system.
