Socialist Humanitarian Research

The problem of humanism has been affecting the development of our society and culture for many years. In sense of philosophy, the humanism theory derives from western Renaissance humanism. Marxism ideology also includes a humanitarian spirit, which is Marxist's humanism. When the western humanism was introduced to Chinese circle of thinkers, it once raised the different discussion in the different time, particularly on the humanism in 1980s as well as the alienation of the most famous large scale discussion. Since the centre leadership with Hu Jintao as the representative proposes the "human-oriented" theory, the circle again raises the high tide about the humanism discussion. The socialist humanism is a new pattern of theory, which integrates the humanism thoughts and Principe and modern social consciousness of historic humanism with the socialist system under the guidance of Marxist's historical materialism, which has its own characteristics and contents and significance. Socialist humanism can play a key role in promoting Chinese reform and opening up and modernization building in that it complies with Chinese circumstances, and so it should hold the important status in the entire socialism ideology. All above are the main contents of this paper.In recent years, the academic circle mainly concentrates on thehistory and significance of the socialist humanism from the point of the party' policy "human-oriented" as well as "overall development of human", this has provided an explicit foundation and direction for the further research. However, this study didn't make enough analysis on the relation between socialist humanism and the "human-oriented" theory, which has left behind the space for this article in the width and depth for the further excavation.On the basis of the research of the domestic and foreign scholars, this paper comprehensively uses logistic and historical, academic and practical study methods, so we can make a through and systematic research on the theory and practice of the socialist humanism as well as its relation with the party's policy. The innovation in this essay is we firstly from a constructive point to conduct a comprehensive study on socialist humanism.Nowadays, our country is in a transitional period. If we unscramble the socialist humanism correctly, it is no doubt that it will be better to accelerate human's all-round development. And it also has a great meaning to prompt social progress, to walk scientific developing road and construct harmonious socialist. Furthermore, it is benefit for weak groups' solicitude and Marxism development in this century.
