The Support Of Civic Education On Socialist Harmonious Society

Social harmony is the dream of the human society during thousands of years, and structuring harmonious society of socialism is an integral social systems engineering which including socialist material progress, political civilization, spiritual civilization and socialist modernization. Civil education is the basic route to foster the modern citizen, under the globalization background, cultivating what kind of citizen, how to cultivate citizen, have already become the important problem of our country socialist which must be settled well. Civil education has an inner link with the socialist harmonious society, in our country, the citizen is the mainstay and strong motive force of advancing harmonious social construction of socialism. We can not really realize the society harmoniously as the improvement of all social member's whole quality.This text mainly has three parts of contents. First of all, it has explained the purposes and guidelines of Chinese characteristic civil education in an all-round way, proposed that Chinese characteristic civil education is the cradle to train socialist builders and successors, which have guiding function of overall importance in modernization. Secondly, it has probed into the meaning, essential feature and objective of the struggle structuring harmonious society of socialism thoroughly. Thirdly, it has suggested that civil education to propping up of harmonious society of socialism,mainly embodies four aspect: civil education strengthens the scientific development view education, guides the harmonious social construction of socialism with the idea of scientific development;civil education promotes the material progress construction,provides the solid material base for constructing the socialist harmonious society; civil education consolidates the construction of political civilization,provides the reliable political guarantee for structuring the socialist harmonious society; civil education ensures the direction of construction of spiritual civilization, provides strong ideological impetus for harmonious society of socialism. The article aims at causing the attention to civil education of the whole society through the above trying discussion.
