As a serious social problem, juvenile delinquency has been addressed bythe world. The juvenile is closely linked with the future of our country andnationality. Juvenile delinquency will influence social stability and our countrydevelopment seriously. The government, many research institutions andexperts have done a great deal of research to prevent it. The reasons ofjuvenile delinquency, especially psychological characteristics and familybackground, are focused by psychologists, the perpetrator of Jurists andeducators commonly because they hope to find the characteristic of juveniledelinquency to reduce and prevent it.OBJECTIVE: The study is to learn about personality treats of juveniledelinquency and probe the linkage of parenting style and Criminal Personalityand produce science evidence to intervene mental health of juveniledelinquency.METHODS: The study used many ways such as the questionnaire, caseinterview, material analysis and so on to make a collective investigation. Thisstudy choose Eysenck Personality Questionnaire adults Scale to survey(investigate) personality treats of juvenile delinquency, and choose EgnaMinnen av Bamdoms Uppfostran-own memories of parental rearing practicesin childhood to learn about the parenting style. Though comparing with thenormative model and correlation and regression analysis between thepersonality characters of juvenile delinquency and their parenting style, we tryto find the characters of criminal personality and the relationship between itand the parenting style.RESULTS and CONCLUSINS: Firstly, the scores on personality E(extraversion-introversion) , N (neuroticism) , P (psychoticism) and L (lie)scales were all higher in the study group than the normative model. Secondly,there were apparent differences on personality E, P and L scales among youngpeople who commit robbery, theft, crimes of violence, drug-related crimes, and sex offence. Thirdly, the scores on personality N scales were higher in thejuvenile delinquency from defective family than normal family. The last, therewere apparent differences on parenting style between the study group and thenormative model. And the study find there were significant related betweenFSS5 (refuse from father), MSS1 (mother's warmth of feeling andunderstand),MSS2(mother's interference),MSS3(refuse from mother) andpersonality N. So we think that if the parents always refuse their children, thechildren will become Emotional instability, Lacking sympathy, stubborn andreversal mind.The paper brings forwards some countermeasures and advices in themental health of juvenile delinquents in order to intervene juvenile delinquents,though discussing the relation between the personality treats of juveniledelinquents with parenting style.
