So it is necessary to study the majority principle rationally. Protection of minority rights is the crucial step during putting majority principle into practice. The ideal condition that the people pursue is decision by majority and protection of minority rights in perfect harmony. However, in fact, the matter becomes more complex than the ideal obviously. Tyranny of the majority causes the damage of the minority's human rights. On the basis of the majority principle, political rights of the minority used to be invalid in democratic decision. It is used by the majority to keep powerful and strong to control others. The political rights of the majority infringe upon the political rights of the minority, and civil rights, developmental rights, and freedom of thought behind the political rights. The result of democratic decision determines the provision of benefit. So protection of the minority's political rights is very important.
