People 's Livelihood Research

The Principle of People's Livelihood is an important part of the doctrine of Sun Yat-sen San-min and the content of the Principle of People's Livelihood is very abundant. Previously the factor, which turned the old Principle of People's Livelihood into the new Principle of People's Livelihood, was not analyzed profoundly and comprehensively. It was mostly analyzed in the mode of class analysis and then they come to the conclusion directly and therefore couldn't solve the puzzle when people are learning the Principle of People's Livelihood. The other shortage lies in choosing the materials. They usually like considering a problem in the angle of politics, not in comprehensive, developing and connective angles and they neglect the organic connection among different things. Moreover, they lacked in the connection between domestic and foreign materials. This text endeavors to overcome the shortage of these aspects, studying Sun Yat-sen's Principle of People's Livelihood from the new angle and blending the process and reasons of the change into an organic whole.As for the research of the Principle of People's Livelihood, I think we should collect the historical literatures widely and adopt the research method of intercross and infiltration of different subjects. Besides the research method in history, I take research methods in sociology and psychology. Besides, I attach importance to the methods of connecting the overall studies and case studies and adopting foreign scholars' reaearch methods and outcomes.I broaden the studying fields of the Principle of People's Livelihood, no longer confined to the equal land property, the peasant-owned land system and restriction on capital. I study from Sun Yat-sen's thoughts in agriculture, industry, finance, business and the society, etc. Therefore,I come to my conclusion: Sun Yat-sen's thoughts in agriculture attach importance to science and technology, experts and introduction. In his theory in industry, he argued to open to foreign countries, coordinate the development of national economy and value the factor of location. In his principle in finance, he thought that the government should control finance and innovate in finance and make it play a role it should have in the national construction. In his thoughts in busines, he mentioned to promote mercantilism and the development of commerce and prevent commercial monoply. His ideas in society majorly aimed to prevent social inequality and attached importance to equal emploment and education, which is still an important method to ensure the people's livelihood up to now.My research in the Principle of People's Livelihood, insists on a practical and realistic principle from beginning to the end. The standard is whether it pushes or benefits the social development and progress. I came to the conclusion that Sun Yat-sen's Principle of People's Livelihood is the progress of the history thus. I put together concrete analysis and comprehensive analysis, putting the study in the long river of the history. This text emphasized to discuss and analyse from the cultural content aspect of the Principle of People's Livelihood, and analyze various influences of the factors upon Sun Yat-sen's Principle of People's Livelihood from various currents of thought including the aspects of the political personality, the traditional thought of the family, society and China. Then I come to the conclusion that the Principle of People's Livelihood of is a result of gradual prefect and various composition of forces. Moreover, for Sun Yat-sen's Principle of People's Livelihood research, I break the confine of closed research, adopting the open research, reading a great amount of oversea related materials, absorbing the research result of the oversea scholars to raise some new standpoints. For example, in solving the problem in people's livelihood: Sun Yat-sen thinks that it is a method and also the goal of his pursuit.The influence of Principle of People's Livelihood upon the two parties-KMT and CPC is profound. Deep research of Sun Yat-sen's Principle of People's Livelihood thought and absorbing its essence will help us to set up the People Oriented Principle and promote the spread of the Scientific Outlook on Development and better solve the people's livelihood problem that our country faces.
