Marx's theory of world history is an indispensable element of historical materialism and theoretical system of scientific socialism. It is also a critical methodology for the development of human history. Initially, Marx clarified his idea of world history in the "German Ideology". The world history originated from nothing. It came about at certain stage of human development and mainly derived from the unproved productivity and extensive interaction between people. Followed the establishment of production methods of capitalism, the world market has been built, and all nations open the door to each other. The world has become an integrity. Thus, all nations' history integrated into the world history. We have to grasp Marx's ideas of the world history in the following two ways. Firstly, the world history has shown the general trend of the history of the object. Compared with national history, the world history structured holistic relation which existed in human society at a specific historical era. Because of the world history, all nations, either voluntarily or forcedly, deepened the interaction and interdependence rather than being closed and isolated. Since the world history emerged, their development has changed dramatically, which has been restricted by contradictions of the nation's product relations and affected by the general development of the world history. Therefore, the new trend, "symbiotic" and "skip", has emerged. Through the interaction and communication between nations, less developed countries could learn from the achievement of civilization of developed countries directly, which accelerates catching up with developed countries. Based on this, Marx put forward that less developed countries could go beyond bounds of capitalism "Ka Fu Ding" Canyon and be directly into the socialist by learning the achievement of capitalist development. Secondly, the world history reveals comprehensive history of the main. It demonstrates the extent of liberation and development, and reveals the process which the existence of regional has evolved the existence of the world history. Marx always argued that communism is the cause of world history, because communism accomplishment depends on increasing development of productivity and the general development exchanges. Only based on these conditions, people could abolish mandatory division of labor, which contributes to free and overall development. In other words, as real manifestation of productivity in the scope of the world's space, the world history provide historical environment for human liberation and development. Within that environment, human being become the master of social integration, the master of nature and their own. They throw off the shackles and head toward freedom and overall development. This article is divided into three sections. The research on Marx's ideas of world history will be traced to its source in the first section. The second section explores the formation and main content of the theory of world history. In the third section, theoretical significance and practical significance of Marx's world history ideas will be indicated.
