Constitutionalism is the modern political civilization is an important content and basic symbol. China's constitutionalism history since modern constitutional movement has more than 100 years, since the constitutional theory and practice on the exploration and uninterrupted. As a kind of modern political system, the value concept is about the constitutionalism and how to implement the constitution and constitutionalism rational cognition on the formation and development of a decisive impact, no constitutional concepts, there can be no real sense of constitutionalism.After the founding of new China, especially since the third plenary session of the communist party of China's constitution, the first real road on the right way. However, the social transformation of social environment and the globalization of domestic rapid development of contemporary China, the constitutional ideas proposed huge challenges. How well the challenges and actively construct constitutional ideas with Chinese characteristics of contemporary China, will become the ruling party construction of constitutional government faces. Therefore, further study of contemporary Chinese philosophy and constructing constitutionalism, it is of great theoretical and practical significance.This paper is divided into four parts:First, introduction. Briefly introduced at home and contemporary Chinese constitutional ideas about the research present situation, proposed the research methods and purpose.Second, the first chapter of constitution and constitutionalism, mainly divided into three parts: the first part is "constitutional government" concept definition, mainly from a source of constitutionalism, western scholars and Chinese scholars about the constitution and constitutionalism, the definition of the evaluation standard of three aspects. The second part is the constitutional theory explain the concept, introduces the concept, the concept of constitutional ideas, as well as the basic connotation of constitutional concepts, The third part focuses on the basic concept of constitutionalism constitutional value and meaning.Third, the second chapter in contemporary China, the main idea of the constitutionalism is divided into four parts, namely, the history of contemporary Chinese constitutional concepts, basic content and logical, practical function. This chapter is analyzed in the history of contemporary Chinese constitutional ideas originated and logic evolution, emphatically expounds the contemporary Chinese constitutional ideas include what specific content, the idea of constitutionalism in the full understanding of the synthetical consolidation and based on the four aspects, summarizes the contents: the value of contemporary Chinese constitutional ideas of contemporary Chinese constitutional concepts and demands of socialist essence of contemporary China, the basic principles of the constitution construction and contemporary Chinese constitutional construction of ruling concept.
