With the development of economy, the issue of land collecting and compensation has become the hot issue of the society and attracted the eyes of the people all over the county, which influencing the level of the development of economy . China is a big agricultural country, the land is the root of the country's development, to manage land problem well is a significant factor for a country's sustainable development. So the importance should be attached on how to make the compensation for land collecting more consummate. But for the moment, a lot of issues come out owing to the shortcomings of the current compensation system. For example, The Constitution only declaration'to meet the public benefits, the government can expropriate lands according to the correlative laws and give some compensation,'but as for the compensation's standard, the current constitution does not make specific demonstration. The standard for compensation which the law on land management and correlative laws is given low, the compensation mode is too simple and the compensation procedure is not satisfied. The peasants'legal rights couldn't be protected. So it is an urgent mission for us to do some research on the issue of the compensation system for land collecting. Therefore, on the basis of analyzing fundamental theories of kinds of countries of the world, referring to the practice, and on the basis of concluded the experience, the author give some rational suggestions on the system, trying to discuss how to reform the current compensation system for land collecting.There are three parts in this paper, the first part is mainly discussed the importance of consummating the system. The current compensation system for land collecting in china has some disadvantages, shortage of the principle, standard, method and so on. The second part analyzes the methods and experience of compensation system in some other countries and areas and makes comparison with them. China should learn from other countries and search for available ways to make the system more consummated. Of the three, the third part is the most important one of the paper, in this part, a long discussion is given which includes some suggestions on the compensation system for land collecting.
