The Charity Market has been a new thing in China and has become a new way of charitable salvation in recent years. It directly faces to the disadvantaged families or individuals who have great difficulties in job hunting or mental and physical disability. The Charity Market accepts the donation goods and money, displaying goods that like in the supermarket and those who have the salvation cards can get necessities from it. The model of Charity Market is"one stop salvation". In a word, The Charity Market is neither a governmental sector nor a profit organization, but a charitable one.Currently, most of the Charity Markets are trapped in the corner after a period of time and the"one stop salvation"can not maintain the resources coming. So there's argument hold that we should learn from the foreign country's experiences in marketing direction. But the truth is the study about the Charity Market aboard is nearly rare. So, in this article, the author brings a brief outline of Charity Market in U.S. into our recognition. The origin of the Charity Market starts from the Goodwill Industries International (GII) in U.S. It focuses on recycling tings in communities. After having been processed professionally, these kinds of goods are sold to all the citizens in a low price. The revenue is used to educate or train disabled or those who need help to find a better job. Goodwill stores employ managers who are responsible for the financial work independently to operate Charity Market.Therefore, the Charity Market in China and U.S are quite different not only in the function but also in the aim. Those argued to learn from GII should pay more attention on the real circumstances. But both Charity Markets are Non-Profit Organizations and we still can draw lessons from them. Therefore, based on the case study, the author proposed three approaches to improve the Charity Market in China, hoping it will give some significance to theory and practice study.
