Study Sexual Autonomy

With social progress and people's enhanced awareness of rights, the right of sexual autonomy, as an important right of personality, gradually arouses the concern of academics and ordinary people. The in-depth and systematic research in the right of sexual autonomy has both theoretical value and practical significance. This thesis begins with the connotation of the right of sexual autonomy,then contrasts and analyses several common concepts which are confusing in order to explain the rationality of the term-the right of sexual autonomy; on this basis,this thesis elaborates the characteristics and content of the right of sexual autonomy. Secondly, this thesis distinguishes between the right of sexual autonomy and other relevant personal rights to highlight the necessity of its independent existence.Thirdly, this thesis dissertates the typical violations of the right of sexual autonomy one by one by the means of cases and data, in order to help people to identify specific circumstances effectively in real life.At last, this thesis draws on the experience of domestic and oversea legislation and then construct our country's protection of the right of sexual autonomy by civil law, from the dual perspective of personality right Law and tort law.
