Government's Role In Urban Housing Demolition

With the fast-growing development of urbanization, building relocation is unavoidable. Various kinds of conflicts of interests and social problems come into being because of a series of historical and social reasons and imperfect legal system. That reflects the behavior of the government is getting commercial and role of government is in disorder. If the issue can not be properly handled, it will probably impair the image of government and give rise to social instability. The article uses the comparative analysis method,the logic analysis method,the value-analysis method and positive analysis method etc. to clarify the role of government in the process of relocation and demolition under the law of People's Republic of China, analyze the reason why the government's role is in disorder, and put forward corresponding measures for the government to return to its proper role.The article is composed of six chapters.Chapter One introduces the related concepts of relocation and demolition and its basic types. Chapter Two describes the current improper role of Chinese government in the process of urban housing demolition and relocation.
