"9.11" After The Islamic Terrorist Organization's Recruitment Activities

With the concept that the emphasis of anti-terrorism is prevention, this paper discusses the recruiting modes and several rules of Islamic terrorist organizations in the era of "Global Jihad". The paper is based on the available materials on the practices in western Europe-the front line of anti-terrorism in the West.In Western Europe, the main recruiting bodies of the Islamic terrorist organizations are peripheral organizations, radical imams and the radical(even terrorists); They mainly target on the converts who abandon former religions and choose "Holy War"(Jihad) as their life style, new Muslim immigrants and the second and third generation of immigrants; Recruiting often takes place in mosques, jails, internet, religious book stores and so on; The recruiting modes consist of secretly choosing objects, privately developing friendship, co-opting and assimilating gradually and so on. Why there are potential objects and why there is a likelihood of successful recruitment? This paper mainly explains from the negative influence of globalization and carries out in-depth analysis on the religious and social aspects.Meanwhile, this paper points out that in the era of "Global Jihad" and global anti-terrorism, it is difficult for China to just stand by. On the basis of a profound understanding of recruitment of the Islamic terrorist organizations in relevant countries, Chinese government should make preparations in advance to eradicate the root causes of terrorism and to extrude in the fountainhead the space of recruitment of terrorist organizations in China.
