With the development of China's comprehensive national power, researches on China's national image become a hot study issue of international politics and Communication. However, the present researches on China's national image mostly focus on the empirical level to discuess the importance of mass media on China's national image but lack of theory basis. As a result, this article attempts to analyze the influence of mass media through political and sociological theories, and demonstrates media in Taiwan would affect audiences'views on China's national image through comprehending the relationahip between mass media and audiences.In order to achieve the empirical research, this article aims to the three largest circulation synthetical newspaper" United Daily News", "China Times" and "Liberty Times" in Taiwan, and divided them into "Blue" and "Green" two camps according to previous studies, and searched each databases to pursue the variations from the same news souce. The next step was to reorganize opinions and narratives on China's national image of participants through focus groups interviews. In comparing the two datas above, it illustrated that audience who reads different camps newspaper would logically presents the same point of view on China's national image. The results proved that media in Taiwan would affect audiences'views on China's national image, and provided an empirically theoretical support for researching on China's national image.
