Since the end of the Cold War, in face of increasingly severe climate change, Japan launched a series of climate diplomacy. This paper systematically studies the development of Japan's climate diplomacy, analyzes the reasons that Japan carries out climate diplomacy, constraints and problems, and its enlightenment to China are also summarized.This paper analyzes the three stages of Japan's climate diplomacy, Japan's climate diplomacy are the mechanisms surrounding the construction of the three United Nations climate process, "the period of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change concluded " "the period of the Kyoto Protocol built" and "post-Kyoto period."Then it analyzed the causes of climate diplomacy carried out in Japan, its constraints and problems.
