Following the third wave of democratization, Thai's political regime started its transformation from authoritative politicals to democratic politicals. However, a coup d'etat in 2006 stopped the process. From then on, Thailand was wracked by political tensions between the pro-Thaksin camp and anti-Thaksin camp. Although, the political turmoil drew world–wide attentions, behind the events ,the truth about why Thai's political democratization suffered so much was little known. The main purpose of this essay is to take this as an opportunity of study and wants to forecast the future trend of Thai's political transition and its influence on China by analyzing the characteristics and its reasons. The full test is composed by four parts including the theory on political transition, the development of Thai's political transition, Thai's political transition characteristics and its causes, and the future trend of Thai's political transition .
