Contemporary Chinese Interests Overseas Expansion And Maintenance Exploration

In the background of globalization, the expansion and protection of a country's overseas interest is of great advantage to facilitate the country's domestic stability and development, and to enhance the international image and status, the study of the overseas interest has become an important issue on the field of international relations. Actually, overseas interest is overseas extension of the national interests, which is the embodiment outside the country's border, is a part of the national interests.Through the protection and expansion of the overseas interests, realizing the developing and improving the national interests, already become a significant part of foreign strategy. As the further deepening of China's reform and opening up policy and the implementation of the"going out"strategy, Chinese overseas interest increasingly grow, accordingly the challenges she would face also grow. During this process, how to define and assess the overseas interest of China, learning from the history of expanding and maintaining work of Chinese overseas interest, then building the new period strategy on developing the overseas interest of China, is another research subject the Chinese diplomacy facing now. The dissertation defines and classifies the overseas interest, and assesses the current Chinese overseas, reviews and examines the history of China's expansion and protection work. On this basis, the dissertation proposes some strategic suggestions to the policy makers.
