It has taken mathematics education workers a long time to pay attention to research-ing for the concept of mathematics. At the same time, representation problem also beca-me more and more important. At the basis of the past research, this study unifying field cognitive style and math concepts representation was attempt to inspect the different field cognitive style students' characterization and difference in math concepts representation. Through this finding, author hoped that can reveal the impact what field cognitive style made in math concepts representation, in order to provide some workable teaching suggest. The object of this research is the grade 2 of high school students. From the Embedd-ed Figures Test and Math Concepts Representation Test,we selected field-independent sample group and field-dependent sample group and analyzed the result of the two groups on their Math Concepts Represe-ntation Test. During this analyzing, it indicates that:1. Field cognitive style and math concepts representation have significant correlations;2. As to one concept, field-independent students' representation is better than field-dependent students', and field-dependent students' representation lacks of richness;3. The past experience has field-dependents make more concept representation mistake;4. Different field cognitive style'students rely on concept prototypes which play an important role in concept representation in different degree;5. Field-dependent students show more advantage on application of concepts...
