Based on the cognitive psychology, and by applying the psychology to the real teaching situations, the author simply analyzes several problems which exist in the teaching of Chinese reading comprehension, discussing the process of teaching reading comprehension, learners' congnitive features and requirements. On the basis of what has been covered, the author offers several optional strategies of the teaching of reading for further discussing.The thesis can be divided into three parts. In the first part, the author illustrates the main theory of cognitive psychology, thus getting readers to have a general idea of it. In the second part, the author poses some problems in the teaching of reading comprehension based on the theory in the first part. She also reveals the enlightenment of the teaching of reading comprehension from the cognitive psychological perspective. In the third part, inspired by the cognitive psychological approach, the author talks about the teaching of Chinese reading comprehension practice on the basis of the present situation in teaching...
