Senior Chinese Poetry Teaching Situation And Improvement Strategies

Poetry can richen the students the accumulation of language, develop the way of thinking, and enhance the personal character and aesthetic taste, so it plays a very positive and important role. But for a long time, during the teaching of poetry, classical poetry is favored by so many students while modern poetry is ignored, for this reason, modern poetry becomes a relatively weak point, On the one hand, those in education, there are many who do not like poetry, do not understand poetry, so those teachers do not want to teach poetry. Their old teaching way of poetry can not rise to the interest of students, leading to poetry teaching a mere formality, so it becomes the weakest link in the middle school language teaching.On the other hand, long-term oriented education makes education lose the intrinsic of human quality but drills for exams, which results in student'general prejudge to modern poetry, that is learning it or not does not matter, for it would not affect one's admission through college entrance scores. They would rather read novels, essays and other contemporary articles, sometimes just for a number of candidate needs to recite classical poetry, there is no interest for them to get involved in the appreciation and understanding of poetry, let alone to read poetry out.In recent years in the era of the quality education background, education is a call to the development of human spirit and with a strong sense of vocation and artistic sense to inspire students to feel the good and true and beautiful visions. Poetry is no doubt a most appropriate form 2006, a new edition of book was put into use, in the first semester of senior high school, a new unit about poetry was set up to help students appreciate the beauty of new poetry, by this, can enable students to experience the ways of writing in order to help students cultivate interest in learning poetry,for the aim to improve their language literacy by modern poetry. Therefore, how to find the beauty in the lines of modern poetry, how to arouse the aesthetic taste of students to make them love poetry, improve their language literacy and build up noble character, is becoming the direction of teaching research for a number of language teaching.I am from the senior school teacher, in this subject of my research, I use the literature study, questionnaires and interviews and other research methods and I also refer to multi-access books, periodicals and newspapers in Chinese, and discuss with many high school language teachers and students, seminars so I get access to the first-hand information, which laid the foundation for my research. In addition, during the language teaching for poetry in high school, we meet many problems, I designed a "survey", by secret ballot in the form, so that classroom teachers and students are free to choose from, so the survey data will be more objective and faithful, which reflects the current status of teaching poetry in high school.Meanwhile, in order to make research more operational, I use a teaching case from a certain high school teacher,for example, to analyze the pros and cons to find the best way to improve teaching poetry. I think during the teaching of poetry,through reading with emotion, understanding the background of poetry writing, seize the open interpretation of poetry, focusing on the effect of multimedia application to enable students to experience the ways of writing in order to help students cultivate interest in learning poetry,for the aim to improve their language literacy by modern poetry.
