| Traditional martial arts is one of the Chinese nation's precious cultural heritage, which is rooted in the land of China, produced in the long process of history, and becomes timeless Over the history, and even is given a more profound meaning in sediments of traditional culture, so its value can not be estimate. Traditional martial arts itself is the scope of intangible cultural heritage. At present, the world has begun to pay much attention to protect and inherit the intangible cultural heritage, especially the traditional martial arts. From the perspective of the development of traditional martial arts, its mode of existence, to some extent, couldn't be completely adapted to suit the environment of modern society. Furthermore, environment for the survival of traditional martial arts has been destroyed by the destruction of modern civilization, so how to develop the traditional martial arts is a question which is still not clear, and the whereabouts of the traditional martial arts is also in a loss pending crossroads. How to develop the traditional martial arts has become a common problem which needs to be discussed and solved in the current government, academia, sports and martial arts area. Faced with this range of issues for the protection and heritage of art, we should increase the intensity of the research and find effective measures, so that we can achieve long-term development and heritage of traditional martial arts and make this valuable traditional martial art reborn. As a result, we can enable it to reach a new peak. So we should make contributions to develop and inherit our national culture, that's to say, achieving the comprehensive development and effective protection of the traditional martial arts.In this paper, the subject of the study is the protection of traditional martial arts and non- material cultural heritages. Through these research methods including using literature, logical reasoning, Historical research and so on, we can analysis and research the problem and the status of traditional martial arts, even we can how to protect it from the perspective of non-material cultural heritage. Finally, we draw the corresponding conclusions and recommendations. The conclusions of this study are that: (1) Traditional martial arts are the treasure of the Chinese nation. It is famous for its salient features and unique charm, and it is a kind of Chinese cultural symbol which attracts many foreign friends to travel and study in China. What's more, it has become an important tool for Cultural exchange and cultural communication and a banner of representing image of China. However, in the modern society, traditional martial arts gets into a hobble of how to development, so how to protect the traditional martial arts has become an urgent issue which needs us to solve. (2) In the 21st century, the world set off a wave of intangible cultural heritage protection. Traditional martial arts are also a kind of non-material cultural heritage, and other types of non-material cultural heritage protection have made some achievements. We can learn from the experience of their success in order to find an effective way of protecting traditional martial arts. At present, China has begun to carry out the project which protects the intangible cultural heritage, and has achieved a degree of success. While there are also some shortcomings which need us to improve the methods and measures for protection, so that we can perfect the protection. (3) Protection of Traditional Martial Arts should follow the four principles: human nature, systematic, phased and coordinated. We should take comprehensive measures to take advantage of beneficial external conditions. First, in the area of the traditional martial arts, their own efforts are internal factor to get better. Then, Government support is an excellent external condition. Next, Traditional martial arts should go the road of industrialization. At last, we should learn from the inscription which has been successfully valuable experience in the traditional martial arts. All in all, we should appeal to people from all sectors of society to pay more attention to protect the traditional martial arts together and make contributions to protection and development of the traditional martial arts. |
