The Research On The Protection Of Hengshui Traditional Martial Arts By The Vlew Of Intangible Heritage

Hengshui city has a long history, with a rich cultural heritage. Hengshui people havebeen advocated martial arts from ancient times, which influence Hengshui people’s soul.Talented people who are talented in martial arts have been come to the fore in greatnumbers like galaxy of brilliant stars, such as Xing Yi Quan, one of the four famousboxing.And Bagua,whose branches were created by Hengshui people and each them hasthe unique technical style and content. Starting from2008, Shenzhou Xing Yi Quan hasbeen selected in the national nonmaterial cultural heritage lists. Besides, Shenzhou MeiHua Quan, Jizhou Sanhuang PaoChui Quan and Hengshui Chuojiao have been selected inthe HeBei national nonmaterial cultural heritage lists. However, through literature searchesand interviews between experts, we found that in the non-material cultural heritage, justexplored a little researching Hengshui traditional martial arts and heritage protectiontheory rarely. This study must have an important theoretical and practical significance.In this study, we use literature data, field survey, expert interviews, logical analysisand other research methods, guided by cultural and sociological theory, and selectHengshui Intangible Heritage of traditional martial arts heritage for the study, which showsa representative Hengshui boxing ’s history. Using Shenzhou Xing Yi Quan as a case of itscontinuty, we conduct a comprehensive analysis of the subject from tradition, heritagecontent, heritage route aspects.Analyzing the proposed defects on non-material culturalheritage of traditional martial arts we mainly research this from the lack of emphasis,professionals, political regulations, and the lack of theory and practice, also make a fewsuggestions on Hengshui current traditional martial arts as a heritage intangible culturalheritage.In short, respect the recognition of nonmaterial cultural heritage, the government andthe public should be aware of the importance of traditional martial arts as an nonmaterialcultural heritage. We should build up laws and regulations to speed up construction,focusing on promotion and publicity, and strengthen the pluralistic heritage means topromote nonmaterial cultural heritage, protect and development traditional martial arts inHengshui.
