In the traditional high school,teachers pay too much attention to the formalization and systematization of mathematics,neglect the discovery and formation of mathematical knowledge;that is,they put the math's deductive nature before the experimental nature.Therefore,the mathematics has become a boring symbol operation and reasoning game,lost its original lively and colorful,which directly results in students' lack of interest and confidence in math learning.In order to eliminate this disadvantage,I propose to carry out mathematics experiment teaching supported by Geometer's Sketchpad.What kind of teaching model should we use?After reading a lot of relevant literature,I find that inquiry teaching mode is suitable.However,the traditional inquiry teaching can not be applied directly.,because it does not take the characteristics of mathematical experiments into account.After some improvement,we get the inquiry mathematics experiment teaching mode supported by the Geometer's Sketchpad.This article mainly includes the following contents:firstly,it pointes out that the development of mathematics experiment teaching in high school not only conforms to the new curriculum standard's idea,but also is an attempt and way out of the current dilemma.Secondly,the research status of the teaching mode,the main research method,the mathematics experiment,the mathematics experiment teaching,the geometric sketchboard are introduced in detail.Thirdly,after a questionnaire survey of the students and teachers in three high schools in Henan,we find that there are many problems in mathematics experiment teaching under,but the biggest problem is that the teachers don't know what kind of teaching model should be used.In order to carry out it more effectively,I put forward independent inquiry and group cooperative inquiry,and describe the static teaching structure,dynamic teaching process,internal components and basic principles of the implementation of the teaching model at length.Finally,two cases are designed to provide some reference for the front-line teachers.The inquiry teaching model under the support of the geometric sketchpad takes the characteristics of inquiry teaching and the mathematics experiment teaching into account at the same,and realizes the two's organic combination.The model not only can be used widely,but also requires common hardware.Under it,students group or one student,with the help of the geometric sketchpad and the teacher,start from their own "mathematical reality",and obtain mathematical experience through a series of processes,such as hands-on operation,observation,imitation,conjecture,analogy,analysis,reflection,induction and verification,and finally achieve the ion and severity of mathematics.Lattices and formalization are conducive to the development of students' subjective status.With the development of the times and the continuous implementation of the new curriculum standards,the teaching of mathematical experiment will become an important way in senior high schools.
