Geometry teaching is the focus of secondary Maths teaching and is also the key to training students'logical thinking. But with the higher grade ,the difficulties in Geometry learning upgrade. Students find it more and more difficult to learn Geometry, especially changing from geometric reasoning in seventh grade to geometric proof in eighth grade. In the past, most of the researches on Geometry are about geometric patterns , geometric poof ways and the comparison between geometric cognitive differences of different students. However, there were almost no analysis on reasons of difficulties and dealing strategies.According to the cases above , This paper analysis the Geometric cognitive errors in geometry learning, and on basis of it, relevant teaching strategies are carried out.By means of qualitative analysis and questionnaire edited by the writer, the writer sums up the errors in geometric cognition.1)Can't form the habit of analyzing and summing up.2)Can't find the correct conditions.3)Can't tell the conditions from the conclusions or combine the different conditions.4)Can't transfer among written language on theorem, axiom and definition, geometric language and pattern language.5)Can't separate the basic pattern from complicated background patterns.According to the collected data, the writer adopts the following teaching strategies:1) Practise looking for proof idea. 2)Cultivate the imagination. (experiential imagination, adding boost line according to the characteristics of the patterns) 3)Practise transferring of the three languages. 4)Practise reading and recognizing the patterns. 5)Train the summing up skills.(summing up after each learning activity) The above strategies are very effective in teaching practice.According to the summing up of student'reflection, interview records and the research on comparison between the score before the experiment and after the experiment, we conclude :formulating and implementing effective teaching strategies will improve students'geometric proof capacity. If students stick to forming good study habits and cultivating their learning strategies, they are sure to improve their study capacity.
