Experiment teaching is an important part of talents training system in higher education, and it is irreplaceable in terms of cultivating students'practical and innovative ability, as well as their capability of putting theories into practice. Laboratory is the essential base for teaching and researching in colleges and universities. It is the main place to undertake the tasks of experiment teaching, scientific researching and serving for the economic construction, while the staff in the laboratory are the main force for experiment teaching and scientific researching. The construction of the experiment technicians group is the key to the reform of experiment teaching. While compared with the staff committing to the theories, considering their contribution, the staff in laboratories play a more unique part in the work of cultivating innovative talents, conducting scientific researching and industrializing research fruits. The performance evaluation of laboratory staff is important for the administration of HR in colleges and universities, and the research in it is meaningful both theoretically and practically.This thesis analyses the index factors and the working characteristics which have influences on the performance evaluation of laboratory staff, through analyzing the present status and the existing problems of the evaluation of laboratory staff performance in colleges and universities, and meanwhile conducting questionnaires and survey. This thesis also designs the frame of the performance evaluation index system of laboratory staff. It introduces the hierarchy analytical method in the process of constructing the performance evaluation index system, and ensures every main index in the evaluation index system, then finally ensures the performance evaluation index system.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is to introduce the background information of this research project, the present status of domestic and overseas research fruits, the research purpose and the research meaning of this thesis. In the meantime the chapter gives a brief introduction about the research ideas and methods used in the thesis. Chapter Two starts from the theoretical researches of HR performance evaluation, and goes into the details of the contents of HR performance evaluation in colleges and universities, the general theoretical basis and the methods of performance evaluation. Chapter Three analyses the working traits of the staff in laboratory and the index factors which influence the performance evaluation. And this chapter also designs the frame of HR performance evaluation of laboratory in colleges and universities. Chapter Four ensures the indexes in performance evaluation through questionnaires and experts'evaluations, and it also ensures the key modulus of indexes in performance evaluation system by using the hierarchy analytical method. Chapter Five conducts performance evaluation by using the fuzzy integrated method, and applies it into practice while analyzing Computer Science and Technology of Hunan Institute of Technology. Chapter Six makes a conclusion about the thesis.
