Intangible Cultural Heritage is the important vector of Chinese culture, it is the witness to history and the precious resources of china. The application of Intangible cultural heritage in art education is very important for quality education in school, as the base of cultural transmission, school should undertake the responsibility of safeguarding the intangible cultural heritage. In the report of the Health Committee of the NPC UNESCO, it has the special description of the endangered intangible cultural phenomenon:China traditional culture of ethnic civil Manifestations lacks successors and it faces the risk of lost, but analyze the reason of Endangered intangible cultural phenomenon, besides the Social changes resulting from globalization, modernization, urbanization, information, another very important reason, that is the school education in the absence of Intangible Cultural Heritage. Protecting and rescuring the Intangible Cultural Heritage is one of the effective way. Education is an important cultural development of human history model, which is an important heritage of human cultural way of memory. Intangible cultural heritage has a living state, civil society and life characteristics, so we take advantage of the school education to protect and Inheritance of Intangible Cultural Heritage,Art Education for the promotion and protection of intangible cultural heritage will play a dual role in promoting, the protection and heritage should face the whole of society, especially the education to the young people, which is helpful to improve young people's awareness of the value of intangible cultural heritage and the whole nation's tradition of non-material cultural heritage, conservation awareness.
