Lahu nationality traditional sports has experienced thousands of years of windand rain baptism, have become an important part of the Lahu nationality traditionalculture. It is not only reflect the living history of Lahu family of ancient relics, and isthe pillar of Lahu national development. With the change of social history, the face ofthe strong impact of modern culture, Lahu nationality’s traditional sports culture,cultural tradition of internal structure are changing in different degrees, the evolutionof culture will inevitably lead to the degradation, transformation and evolution of itssocial function, inheritance and development of the Lahu nationality’s traditionalsports itself is facing new problems.This article uses the literature material method, interview method, case studymethod, field survey method, profile analysis and other methods, modern vicissitudeof the Lahu nationality traditional sports activity--"Dage" carries on the discussion ofserious research, motivation and patterns reveal its change, tries to discuss thecommon features of the Lahu nationality traditional sports and similar traditionalsports activity from the personality, to the traditional sports activities for betterprotection and inheritance "Dage". And in Shuangjiang72Dage as a case study,starting from the history of the Lahu family migration, evolution process toproduction as a dating tool to comb "Dage", the "Dage" historical evolution is dividedinto four periods, namely the budding period, transition period, the developmentperiod and the integration period, but also for each period "Dage" development isdiscussed. Through the interpretation of the case study, draws the followingconclusion: the evolution of production mode of Lahu family migration is a key factorin development of Dage custom; cultural subject voluntarily choose transition modelis the Lahu family Dage customs best way to modern development; evolution of theLahu family Dage custom social function has important influence on the developmentof traditional culture.Under the background of modernization, the traditional ethnic sports culture tosurvive and develop, we must enhance the ability of self adjustment, take the initiative to adapt to the changes of the times, to realize the combination of traditional andmodern.
