Under the background of the second-phase curriculum reform, the kindergarten thematic curriculum is implemented. And class is the basic unit in the implementation of the thematic curriculum, the thematic curriculum of class with quality and effective implementation is the safeguard of effective implementation of the kindergarten curriculum, and can provide protection for the practice of the kindergarten curriculum goals. At the same time, it is a key to linking in the process of kindergarten as a whole to improve the quality of courses.This study selected a kindergarten in the Shanghai as experimental subject which experienced the first and second cycle curriculum reform, and has a curriculum development team including Project team, grade team and class team three grade curriculum management system. And the case study method, literature method, questionnaire survey method, interview method and observation method are used to study the thematic curriculum implementation of this kindergarten. According to the study, we found some questions, such as teachers have a certain understanding of class theme curriculum, but not sufficient; teachers have certain recognition of class theme curriculum implementation, but haven’t played a fully role in thematic curriculum implementation; teachers can realize the necessity of thematic curriculum adjustment, but there is still a gap between idea and practice; teachers have a certain consideration for the balance of the course content in the class theme curriculum implementation,but there is still a imbalance; teachers’ means and methods of class thematic curriculum are in rich variety in the implementation of the thematic curriculum, but the organizational forms are single, and in high degree of structure; formative assessment of class curriculum implementation counts more, so evaluation mechanism still needs to be perfect; Classes resources have certain development, but the degree of development and utilization is not optimistic; teachers can know the factors which effect class thematic curriculum implementation, but still have some difficulties in organizing the thematic course elements.On the basis of present situation investigation and study in the case kindergarten’s thematic curriculum implementation, and based on the theory and practice of class thematic curriculum implementation, this study put forward some work proposal to improve the kindergarten curriculum managers’ leadership, perfect the management of class thematic course, improve the system of class theme curriculum evaluation, strengthen the teaching and research, improve the class topic review, carry out the thematic curriculum teachers’ revision of reference textbook by the municipal administrative departments, in order to provide the basic strategy and reference for the kindergarten class theme curriculum implementation.
