Play space of kindergarten is the main site for the play of children and has important influence on the play activity of children. In this study, the researcher uses the concept of boundary, displacement, scale and layout, using the perspective of spatial analysis to study the play space of kindergarten under the background of different cultures. This study has separately chosen one affiliated kindergarten of college from East China and South America as research cases. The paper has mainly studied the play space in one classroom of two kindergartens. The information of this paper was mainly collected by observation and interview. The researcher collects the data of space layout and space usage of two classes. A comparative analysis was made for the play space of classrooms of two classes to figure out the common points and differences of the play space in these two kindergartens. The common points of the play space in two kindergartens are that they are both institutionalized space, and the child scaled is the common concern in the creation of play space; and the play space also has dynamic characteristic.
