Research On Children's Play Behavior Effected By Different Sand Play Circumstances In Kindergarten

The space density, the paly time as well as the material are important environmental factors which affect on the children' play behavior. So we should provide the children that suitable related condition for play. Sand play have the important value for the children. So the research on suitable circumstances for play have the vital significance for the sand play in kindergarten.This research primary coverage includes: to investigate the current situation of sand play in kindergarten through the questionnaire survey and the interview method, and to observate the children' behavior in different space density , length of play time and various kinds of material.The result shoued that:1. The teachers didn't attach importance to the sand play although they entirely agree to the value of play for children. This result is caused by the various reason.2. The space density is influential obviously for children behavior. According to the observed result, we can obtain that every child should have 2.1m~2-2.5m~2 in sand play area.3. In the process of single sand play, every child have a preparation stage firstly no matter regardless of different ages. Along with the age growth, the preparation stage experience the time to be shorter , children can that enter the pley theme be faster. But simultaneously, older children need more time to develop more complex play. So the single play time will to be expanded along with the age growth.4. Puts the different type of the supplementary material in the wet sand and dry sand, it have different effect on the children' behavior.According to the conclusion, we should put forward the proposal to the teacher and the correlation department: Takes the sand play in kindergarten into account. The special planning on sand play must be reasonable. Provide the children enough time for single sand play and various supplementary material.
