College students’ Collective self-esteem is an important part for theircomprehensive quality. Enhancing the level of their collective self-esteem is a bigpromotion for them to improve their ability. By using the method of literature, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics and experimental teaching, this text isabout the effect of outward bound for the college students’ collective self-esteem. Inorder to provide the theoretical support for outward bound in the college and realisticbasis for outward bound those college students can participate in.The following is theresults obtained by this paper.1, After training, the collective self-esteem of outward bound make a bigprogress; compared with the basketball group, there are many significant differencesamong the collective self-esteem, the internal collective self-esteem and collectiveidentity, only the external collective self-esteem does not have significant differences, but on average the boys in the outward bound group’s external collectiveself-esteem increased greater. This shows that after outward bound training thestudents’collective self-esteem increased greater.2, For girls, after outward bound training and basketball training, their collectiveself-esteem and collective identity do not have significant differences, however, onaverage, after out ward bound training the girls’data are more prominent and increasegreater; there are significant differences between the internal and external collectiveself-esteem. After training, the girls’collective self-esteem improved faster.3, For boys, the level of collective self-esteem of outward bound group is greaterthan the track group, the four dimensions have significant differences. This shows that, the track group only has the training of running and jumping, during the training, students cannot communicate and interact with other players, there is no effect toenhance their collective self-esteem, compare with the track training, the outwardbound is full of cooperation and coordination, so the track training has inferior effecton improving the students’collective self-esteem. 4, For girls, after training, there are significant differences between the outwardbound group and the track group. After outward bound training, their self-esteemimproved greater. They will experience the collective strength of the team and get funand ability, for girls, the track training is a little bit boring.5, The analysis and comparison of college students’ collective self-esteemchanges before and after outward bound training: the table for the boys before andafter out ward bound training. From the outward bound group’s collective self-esteemchanges before and after outward bound training we can find that it has significantchanges after the experiment. The outward bound training group’s collectiveself-esteem has improved greater; it also shows that the outward bound training hassignificant effect on collective self-esteem.6, The analysis and comparison of girl’s collective self-esteem changes beforeand after out ward bound training: there are significant differences and great changesbefore and after outward bound training.
