Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Tennis Development In Colleges And Universities In Henan Province

Tennis is many peopl’es favorite sports game-full of fun. It was born in France inabout12or13century, matured in England and popularized in America. Tennis hashigh value in exercising and entertaining,thus is widely suitable to people of all ages.With the development of domestic economy in recent years, the mass playing tennishas sprung up in secret, especially the "tennis hot" trend growing in regularinstitutions, which means tennis game is gradually favored and accepted by modernstudents and becoming popular.This thesis focuses on tennis development in regular institutions in HenanProvince. Adopting Literature, Expert Interview, Questionnaire Survey, MathematicalStatistics and Logical Analysis methods, it does mass research on tennisacknowledgment of teachers and students, tennis courses, then puts forward thecountermeasures as theoretical basis for tennis long-term development in Henanregular institutions as well as those of the whole country.The research presents thefollowing results:1.Tennis is an adorable sporting game among university students and themotives of playing tennis appear diversified. Young students are vigorous and withthe nature of pursuing new things&fashion, which is the main reason they lovetennis.2.Backward economy is the key factor of restricting Henan tennis development.Poor economy leads to the lack of tennis court which cannot satisfy regular exercising.Besides, the poor teaching also reduces tennis effect.3.Because of lacking tennis court space and poor teaching resource, lessstudents are willing to take tennis class, let alone having time to practice. That’s whytennis develops so slowly. 4. There is not enough attention from school leaders and the governments, not tospeak of the relevant encouraging measurement. Which all have negative effects ontennis development.5. In Menan regular institutions，tennis course has single teaching contcnt andtherefore, the effect is not so satisfying.In view of the situation, we put forward the following easurements:1.Equip the regular institutions with per feet tennis facilities. Create good tennisexercise atmosphere and nature student’s interests in tennis.2.Speed the construction of tennis equipment and teaching staff to improvetennis teaching professional skills.3’.The governments attention can improve tennis development.4.Broaden the teaching contents and improve teaching chievements.
