Research On The Development Of Characteristic Education Of Community Education

Curriculum is an important basis for the development of community education,unique community education courses are templates, trends and direction of thedevelopment of community education curriculum. Promoting research on thedevelopment of the unique courses will contirbute to the further development ofunique community education courses, help improving and optimizing the system ofcommunity education curriculums, and has its long-term significance for communityeducation.In this paper, the development of unique community education courses will betreated as the research center. Then we will discuss some theoretical and practicalissues related to this type of courses’ development.In the first chapter, I will describe the oirgins, contents and meanings of thisresearch as well as some main research methods. Origins consist both of socialbackground of this research and individual practical expeirence.In the second chapter, I will review the contents of the existing literature. Then Iwill point out some lacks of existing research in respects of the theoretical basis forthe development of unique community education courses, the empirical researchoirented in unique courses and the link of theoires and practice, and put forwarddirections for further research based on these situations.In the third chapter, for getting theoretical preparation of future study, I willdiscuss definitions of community education, community education curriculum andunique community education course and arrange modern community theory, lifelongeducation theory, adult learning theory and curriculum development theory, which arerelated to the development of unique courses.The fourth and fitfh chapters are empirical study of this paper. Through thequantitative research of the community curriculum and the case studies of part ofrepresentatively unique cours’es development processes in Xuhui District, I willanalyze some practical problems in the development of unique courses. Among these,the study of the general curriculum system can provide a newer perspective for further analysis of the problem of unique courses’ development. Grasping the situation of thegeneral curriculum system is helpful to needs analysis and content selection in theprocess of development.Based on the empirical research of two previous chapters, in the sixth chapter, Iwill summarize the status of the development of unique community education coursesand propose some peripheral and internal tactics for upgrading the process of’courses development.
