In the context of globalization, with the rapid development ofmodern science and technology, some advanced venue for sports equipment, fitnessequipment, emergence of new fashion sport continuous, psychological needs, lifestyle,and aesthetic values of modern people desire gap occurs, causing the folk sports to notvery good tradition in a new environment. This article documents, field trips, expertinterviews and other research methods, to13colleges of physical education specialty inHunan province for the study, to investigate the folk in the creation of the presentsituation of physical education curriculum. And on this basis to propose universal inHunan province and development countermeasure of folk physical education of physicaleducation major in colleges and universities, with a view to further development of folksports curriculum teaching in colleges and universities in the province provide referenceand reference value.Research results show that physical education major in colleges and universities inHunan province in folk physical education courses in the course of the following issues:(1) physical education major in colleges and universities of Hunan province withcourses on folk sports-related.
