National folk sports as part of the national culture, are the basis for national sociallife, spirit and material to maintain the existence and unity of the nation, with its richdiversity of folk sports culture, showing character characteristic of traditional nationalsports culture in China. In the context of globalization, with the rapid development ofmodern science and technology, some advanced venue for sports equipment, fitnessequipment, emergence of new fashion sport continuous, psychological needs, lifestyle,and aesthetic values of modern people desire gap occurs, causing the folk sports to notvery good tradition in a new environment. This article documents, field trips, expertinterviews and other research methods, to13colleges of physical education specialty inHunan province for the study, to investigate the folk in the creation of the presentsituation of physical education curriculum. And on this basis to propose universal inHunan province and development countermeasure of folk physical education of physicaleducation major in colleges and universities, with a view to further development of folksports curriculum teaching in colleges and universities in the province provide referenceand reference value.Research results show that physical education major in colleges and universities inHunan province in folk physical education courses in the course of the following issues:(1) physical education major in colleges and universities of Hunan province withcourses on folk sports-related. But most of the colleges to the Dragon and lion danceprojects as the main line, and involve fewer other folk sports items.(2) national folk physical education teacher-student ratios are not coordinated, andthe teacher’s special focus on Dragon and lion dance sports, other folk sport specialwhich involved very little.(3) arrangements of folk sports curriculum on the amount of hours per week variesgreatly, too few amount of hours arrangements in many universities, students did nothave sufficient time to experience folk sports and exercise, cause its not good to mastertheir motor skills and techniques, easily lead to "the motions" of teaching.(4) in folk physical education major in colleges and universities in Hunan provinceby inconsistent use of teaching materials of physical education curriculum, and someeven do not have textbooks. Teachers teach there is no systematic and comprehensivetheory for guidance, affect the improvement of teaching quality and effectiveness.(5) the stadium construction in colleges and universities in Hunan province, sitematch the scale and scale for students, as well as basic is commenced, venues andfacilities to meet physical education colleges in Hunan province present courses on folksports-related teaching and training needs. By this point, slowlytransforming into the popularity of folk sports, learning will be more effective on thebasis of the existing.(2) strengthening the construction of teacher introduction of folk sports talentscheme, purposeful, systematic arrangement of teachers participating in professionaltraining courses, or by relative to the construction of sound institutions helping policy ofestablishing point to point, experience exchange, and teaching demonstration of learning;may also invite eminent experts to give lectures, for resource sharing, achieve win-winsituation.(3) in a class assignment based on College ground equipment, teaching staff andother general conditions, appropriate adjust the amount of hours, to allow plenty of timefor students to learn, to practice, through repeated practice to deepen their experience onthe national folk sports items and come up with their own set of learning experiences.
