Drawing the complexity algorithm in non-linear dynamics theory, this paper compares the biological of EEG of the four University students who received professional sports training and that of another four University students without professional sports training. EEG was collected under the four types of tasks in states of resting with eyes closed, motor imagery, visual imagination and the mental arithmetic task, in order to explore the effects on the complexity of EEG of college students after Long-standing exercise training and understand activity and arousal of the brain of subjects in a variety of mental states. To achieve the objectives of the research, effectiveness of the Jason Shannon entropy (JSD) and Lopez-Mancini-Calbet Divergence (LMCD) that reflect the degree of chaos of the system is verified firstly. Then these two kinds of measures in dynamics are applied to the actual chaotic sequence, for the sake of exploring the19leads’ complexity of EEG of these two groups of students with different levels of training in the same mental tasks (horizontal comparison), and getting variation of EEG of the same group subjects in different mental tasks (vertical comparison). Results of the experiments were verified statistically with T-test lastly. The result in horizontal comparison shows that, EEG complexity of training group based on JSD was lower than that of students without professional training in the above mental tasks, which Illustrates the structures of brains of college students are more "simple", more nerve-efficiency and lower activity of brain after a long sports. This confirms the argument," Exercises shape the brain ". The result in longitudinal comparison shows that the arousal of the brain regions related to movement of the trained students is higher than that of students without training over a long period of exercise training in the four tasks. After a long sports training, arousal of frontal and temporal lobes of the brain are the lowest under all the mental tasks, which fully illustrates exercise training has a significant effect on the EEG of students. Distinction of EEG complexity between the training group and common group in four mental states JSD-based is very obvious. The experimental results based on LMCD entropy are consistent with results based JSD, which also show that complexity of EEG were lower than the non-exercise group in a variety of psychological states, but distinction is not obvious in the resting and visual imagination except several leads. All above show the two kinds of complexity can be applied to the actual chaotic sequence and JSD is more sensitive than LMCD.Therefore, JSD can be applied to reflect the nonlinear properties of EEG and it is a relatively stable parameters. It can be used as a quantitative index in selecting talents, training skills and evaluating the effect of movement, which has a strong practical significance in educational practice.
