Taekwondo poomsae is the basic skill for the Taekwondo practitioners. It is thecombination of offensive and defensive technical movements in the fixed conditions.For the Taekwondo practitioners, Taekwondo practice is boring, uninteresting andrelatively lackluster compared with leg skills. Moreover, using obsolete andtraditional training methods make practitioners learning very difficult, teaching verylaborious, the coaches also more toilsome. Besides, practitioners in training will feeltired of poomsae psychologically. Mirror reflection of the perception pedagogy inTaekwondo poomsae teaching can boost practitioners’ enthusiasm, initiative, andability to explore and analyze. It also can promote the coordinated development ofTaekwondo skills and organic exercise of physical fitness.In this paper, I mainly take the mass Taekwondo practitioners as the researchobject. The methods used are: literature, logical analysis, expert interviews, andmathematical statistics, experimental method. The main structure of the paper isdivided into five parts of the Introduction, literature review, research objects andmethods, results and analysis, conclusions and recommendations. In the part of theresearch results and analysis, the subjects of the experiments about Taekwondopoomsae and other Taekwondo skills based on Taekwondo students from twotaekowndo gymnasiums respectively called the Great Wall Taekwondo and casting thesoul Taekwondo.30members are extracted from both Taekwondo gyms to theexperiment in proportion to level. The subjects of Physical fitness development arestudents who are major in Certified Public Accountants from Harbin CambridgeCollege. They are respectively in Class Five and Eight, Session2010. Aftercomparing, detecting and analyzing the results in the eight-month long-termexperiments, conclusions are as below:1. In Taekwondo poomsae teaching, the mirror reflection training method can besuperior to traditional training method of the control group in respect of the rates ofaction correctness and performance. Also it could allow students to deeply understandthe inner meaning of Taekwondo Poomsae while in practice.2.On the one hand, mirror reflection training method teaching could improve thegrades for Taekwondo Pomatoes and promote trainees to deeply understand pomatoes; on the other hand, it develop their interests and hobbies in Taelwondo, and the abilityto actively explore, to discover and to research. Meanwhile, other aspects ofTaekwondo skills are also improved.3. The physical development of young children is especially important, which isnow paid high attention by each country. Taekwondo mirror reflection pedagogyapplied in practicing takedown not only keep us in good health but also cultivatelife-long interest in sports, which is a qualitative leap in the physical development ofyoung people.
