For a long time, writing teaching has always been a weakness in the Chinese teaching in the countryside. Optimization of the countryside junior middle school writing teaching is good for students to improve their writing abilities, to further develop their intelligences and to train and develop the students sound personality. Research the countryside junior middle school writing teaching is a pressing task at present. This paper research on writing teaching at Haian rural junior middle school①.The thesis consists of three parts:introduction, main body and conclusion.The introduction summarizes the research situation of this topic in related fields, the study of the origin, the significance of this study and research methods, and the innovation of this article.The main body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter investigates the teachers’ and students’ writings in rural junior middle school in Haian. The author find that writing is not all you expected. The concrete manifestations are these:the teachers’ writing teaching goal is not clear, narrow teaching content, teaching method, teaching evaluation means a single; Students lack of writing motivation and material, there is no good writing habits. Specifically, the teaching objectives of teacher writing is not clear. The teaching content is narrow. Teaching methods are rigid. Teaching evaluation methods are single. For the students,they are lack of writing motivation and materials. They also don’t have good writing habits.The second chapter analyzes the present situation of writing teaching in rural junior middle school in Haian from four aspects:teachers, students, teaching materials and the Department of education. From the viewpoint of teachers, they have the old concepts of education. Their professional quality worries us especially their writing quality.On students, their writing purpose is not clear, and they are lack of the daily accumulation and have bad study habits. On teaching, writing materials disorder and auxiliary materials are scarce. On education department, the guiding ideology is not perfect. The appraisal system is imperfect. Also, writing scientific research is not a normal form. These caused the present rural junior middle school writing teaching levels behind.The third chapter connects with the new curriculum concept and Ye Shengtao’s education thought and then puts forward some countermeasures to optimize the writing teaching. In terms of teachers, they should update their education concept, break the influence of exam-oriented education, improve the students master consciousness and analyze new requirements of writing teaching. In order to improve professional qualities and the writing teaching, the author depends on diaries written by Year7and8students, including proposition diaries. Besides, the author will give students some compositions to practise. Grade9teachers ought to do a good guidance of daily diaries. They should help students with the necessary skill trainings of exams.As for students, they should clear that the purpose of writing is to satisfy a variety of needs rather than to test. The students should enrich their reading and increase the accumulation of life, especially mining rural life material. They should also develop good habits. In terms of writing teaching, teachers should reshape teaching materials, according to learning conditions. They should optimize the writing auxiliary materials, too. Education department should update the guiding ideology, perfect examination system and encourage rural teachers to do some writing researches.
