According to whether through the playoffs divided theteams into playoff teams and un-playoff teams two groups as the research object.Combined with literature, video observation, mathematical statistics, comparativeanalysis, logical analysis and other research methods, compare and study the basicsituation of players in these participating teams as well as the regular season for theoffensive and defensive technology index, to find the gap and disadvantages betweenthe playoff teams and the un-playoff teams. To explore the main factors influenceteams’ offensive and defensive ability. Hope to narrow the gaps between CBA leagueteams, provide suggestions for further development and promotion.By comparing the research results:1.In the aspect of the athletes’ basic situation,age, height, weight and Quetelet, players of playoff teams are younger, taller, andhave certain advantages.2.On the shots and shooting average, the two points of theun-playoff teams shot more and hit more, but shooting percentage is yet to beimproved. Playoff teams pay more attention to the shots and shooting3-pointer. Freethrows, there is no significant difference, but un-playoff team shooting percentage islower.3.The scoring ability, playoff teams is better, manifests the playoff teams’offense is more effective, rather than un-playoff team offensive is weaker, offensiveefficiency is lower.4.Assists, the differences is not obvious, all teams’ assists is less.5.Mistakes, playoff teams make less mistakes and there are significant differences,show their’s better teamwork.6.On the defensive ability, averaging lossing points,defensive rebounds, steals and blocks ability and control ability on foul, there are nosignificant differences, illustrate the un-playoff teams active better on defense.7.Rebounds, un-playoff teams do better on offensive rebounds, while the defensiverebounds is fewer, but the gap is not big.
