A Study On The Sports Competition Of Chengdu Foreign Language School

Abstract:Campus sports school is refers to all students in school to enrich the campus culture and sports life, enhance the physical fitness of students, in order to sport, game activities, physical exercise as the content, according to the formal, simplified or self rule of individual or collective in physical strength, skill, intelligence and psychological aspects of mutual competition. Campus sports competition involving school sports games and students make spontaneous sports, as an important part of campus culture, the school image display, plays a very important role in the modern education and modern sports, the role can not be ignored to improve the student movement skills.On the basis of the analysis of the campus sports school, taking Chengdu Foreign Language School as the sample of the study on sports games. This paper analyzes the Chengdu Foreign Language School competition in the background:the development of promotion of quality education, physical education in the new curriculum reform and to promote the sunshine sports to build a platform for developing campus sports competitions, sports as an important part of campus culture is the need of construction of campus culture.The students’ and teachers’ questionnaire mainly involves:Chengdu Foreign Languages School Students on the campus sports interest, motivation, organizational form in game, games, play frequency, after-school sports competitions and sports course of understanding, affects the student to participate in the tournament than students factors, on the understanding of the game the necessity of the teacher’s guidance, competition awareness. Through the survey statistics show, in our school campus sports competitions and achieved initial results, but due to the limitation of the existing school actual situation, organization and contest details have yet to be further improved.According to the expert and elite sports teacher interviews, detailed analysis of the present situation of campus sports Chengdu Foreign Languages School, points out that Chengdu foreign languages school sports game problems still exist:the numbers of classes, the organization is difficult; the lack of the students’ consciousness of fitness, exercise willpower is weak; lack of sports venues in time; equipment of tension; sports propaganda is not enough; time sports festival is too short, the content is not rich.In view of the current status of this paper put forward valuable suggestions for the future development of Chengdu Foreign Languages School Campus Sports: reduce the physical education population scale, increase the time sports games; to improve teachers’ professional skills, improve sports concept; seize the psychological and physiological characteristics, improve student interest in exercise; sports adhere to the students as the main body, play the student organization; teachers to actively participate in the competition, realize the interaction between teacher and students; rich game projects, promote the school "sports day"; to intensify propaganda, mining the campus sports culture; the traditional items and local characteristics of the project into the campus sports; make full use of the existing conditions, the overall arrangement of the venue equipment; increase the sports funds, improve the hardware facilities.
