Preschool teachers’ professional concept was the forerunner of teacher educationbehavior, guided the direction of the education behavior, is an important way topromote preschool teachers’ professional development, more to be an important stepin the process of reform of preschool teacher education reform in China. Therefore,tohelp early childhood teachers establish a clear,scientific and the modern professionalidea is the priority task of teachers’ professional development. Critical incidents arethe events that cloud bring about individual cognitive conflict and promote individualreflection about its professional concept with adjustment accordingly. It plays animportant role to advance preschool teachers’ professional concept. This thesis putcritical events as the breakthrough point to carry out the purpose of the study ofpreschool teachers’ professional concept is to uncover the critical events on the impactof preschool teachers’ professional concept, in order to give suggestions to promoteconcept of preschool teacher’s professional.This study adopts literature and interview research methods for informationgathering, uses qualitative research method is analyzed emphatically the criticalevents on the impact of preschool teachers’ professional concept, and givessuggestions for preschool teachers’ professional concept of ascension.Thesis framework is as follows:The introduction part explains the causes of the selection of the subject、theresearch aim and the significance. At the same time, some related conceptions aredefined and the operational definition is also explained.There are several aspects ofthis researching process, including collection relevant materials about the criticalevents and teachers’ professional concepts from domestic and foreign scholars,theselection of research method and objects and interpretation and analysis of data.The second part, using the depth interview method to collect and brieflyelucidated the critical events about four preschool teachers.The third part analyzed the impact on the teachers’ professional development inthe following views on job, children and child care and education, which mainlyconstitute professional concept of preschool teachers together.Meanwhile, theimpacts of the key figures on the professional concept was analyzed.The last part put forward some suggestions to preschool teachers’ education department, kindergarten and teachers.
