This paper, through literature analysis, questionnaire, interview method, caseanalysis,under the background of new curriculum reform in our country, discusseshow to improve the principal problems and put forward relevant methods of teachingleadership strategy.This paper is made up of four parts. Part one, the introduction. This partintroduces questions, research significance, research framework and methods. Parttwo, firstly, to give the definitions of the leadership, teaching leadership and theprincipal teaching leadership through literature analysis. Then, expounds abouttheoretical basis of the principal teaching leadership. Finally, the paper expounds theconnotation of the principal teaching leadership, dimensions, and the schooldevelopment, teachers’ specialization and the relationship between the students’ testscores. Part three uses the case analysis, in-depth school field survey, introduced thepresent situation of teaching Chinese as a high school principal, try to find out theproblems and causes. Part four, giving some improvement suggestions about teachinghigh school principal leadership; some countermeasures and suggestions of improveprincipal teaching leadership. Such as development in school (clear school visionobjectives, reasonable allocation of resources for school, strengthening theconstruction of school culture), in the aspect of teaching,(teaching supervisionevaluation, focusing on teachers’ professional development, building teachers’ team),in the aspect of students’ learning (incremental development, rich curriculum system,learning motivation, improve grades). Finally, summarized the main points.In this paper, by studying the present situation of teaching Chinese as a highschool principal, pointed out that the current leadership problems and causes, theprincipal teaching purpose is to promote high school principal method of teachingleadership and solutions, provide theoretical basis for teaching of high schoolprincipal leadership ascension.
